Sarah’s urban senior session in Downtown Vancouver was such a fun and memorable experience! We started the session downtown across from the park. The natural light was perfect for capturing some stunning shots of Sarah, who was dressed in a cute summer dress that her boyfriend surprised her with earlier that day. I mean how sweet is that?!? After spending some time in the city, we headed out to the river for some nature shots.
Sarah was a natural in front of the camera, and her confidence and personality were present in every shot. One of my favorite photos from the session was taken crouched in some low branches with the sunset peeking through behind her. The photo turned out beautifully and Sarah looked absolutely stunning.
The following day her mom sent me the sweetest email:
Dear Lydene,
We had the best experience with you yesterday. It will be something to remember always! Sarah couldn’t stop saying how sweet you were. Then she’d mention your calmness and how she loved your personality. It was at dinner I talked to them about you personally and in particular the secure vs insecure person in regards to confidence… It was then her eyes looked at me and she really got it and she thoughtfully chose words of praise for you in a more meaningful way. So thank you for working with us and giving us your story along with her dream photos and settings. I’m praying she will find the beautiful confidence I see in you! We look forward to seeing you soon and already are so excited about the results of the “shoot”( is that the correct term?).

This senior session was an experience that I’ll definitely never forget and I know great things are in store for Sarah in the future!
