I absolutely love showing contrast in my portrait photography. Give me a pretty girl in a fancy dress as a grungy location and I am a happy camper any day of the week! One of my favorite locations to shoot when I lived in Washington was a junkyard for cars so when I saw there was going to be a styled shoot at the Knotty Barn Event Venue in Queen Creek, I was super excited to go!
This portrait photography session was a celebration of contrasts and the beauty that arises when they meet. I loved that I could use the natural landscape as a backdrop to highlight the sophistication of the gray dress. The ranch transformed into a stage where every element, from the iron fences to the majestic horses, becomes an integral part of the story. The result is a collection of images that tell a tale of harmony between the cultivated and the wild. These images are a testament to the magic that happens when different worlds collide, creating art that resonates with anyone who sees it.

Are you someone who also loves contrast? It sounds like we would be a great fit to work together! Drop me a note here and let’s chat about a session of your own!
